Our craft

Rooted in the vineyard

We believe outstanding grape-based spirits begin with a commitment to agriculture. Our craft grows from a multi-generational farming and winemaking legacy, carried east when our family moved from California to establish Rappahannock Cellars in Virginia in 1996.

In 2015, we began the next chapter: distilling spirits from our wines. Co-located at our family winery in Huntly, we use grapes grown and processed on our farm to make ultra-premium brandy and spirits in small batches. Every spirit is distilled and bottled here, and is 100% grain-free and gluten-free.
